James (Brad) Bradley — founder's story
A career in transformation.
A personal fascination with becoming.

For more than 25 years, James's professional career has centred on transformation.
He began close to the detail — analysing how organisations worked, gathering requirements, understanding complex problems and helping define better ways forward. Over time, that developed into leading complex programmes and shaping transformation portfolios, roadmaps, priorities and strategy within large corporate environments.
The scale changed, but the underlying discipline remained remarkably consistent: understand where you are, identify what matters, make sense of complexity, imagine a different future and turn that understanding into deliberate change.
But transformation was never only a professional interest.
Alongside his career, James developed an increasing fascination with understanding himself and how deliberately changing different parts of life could change the experience of living it.
Leadership programmes and personality frameworks gave him new ways of understanding his own strengths and motivations. Some discoveries were unexpected. Behind a career built around analysis, strategy and delivery, he began to recognise just how strongly he was motivated by relationships — by understanding people, creating connection and wanting good things to happen for those around him.
Other discoveries happened far away from the corporate environment.
The gym became an important part of James's own transformation. What began with changing his body became an exploration of discipline, confidence, identity and the relationship between how someone sees themselves and how they choose to live.
Travel, interests, relationships, ambitions and ideas that repeatedly resurfaced provided other clues.
Gradually, a pattern became clearer: improving life wasn't simply about achieving more. It was about becoming more curious about who he was, recognising what genuinely mattered to him, and creating more room for those things in the life he was building.
Eventually, James found himself applying the questions he had spent a career asking about transformation much closer to home.
For years, he had understood himself substantially through achievement, responsibility and professional identity. From the outside, that could look like success. But increasingly, he wanted to understand what remained when the job title, expectations and familiar measures of achievement were put to one side.
What did he actually enjoy?
What had he dismissed because it wasn't practical?
What kept returning?
What kind of person was he becoming?
And what did he want the next part of his life to contain?
That exploration became the beginning of JB Reinvent™.
Today, James brings together two different but complementary perspectives: the structured thinking developed through a 25-year career spanning transformation, analysis, strategy, people and change; and his own continuing experience of deliberately exploring and reshaping different parts of his life.
Organisations and people are not the same, and JB Reinvent doesn't pretend that they are. But James believes there is something valuable in bringing the discipline of transformation to deeply personal questions: understanding the present clearly, exploring possibilities before prematurely narrowing them, recognising what matters, and translating insight into intentional change.
Through JB Reinvent™, James has turned his focus from organisational transformation to personal reinvention — creating the structure for other people to explore some of the questions that became so important in his own life:
Who am I? What matters to me now? Who am I becoming? And what do I want to build next?
If that question has been waiting a while, a private introductory conversation is a good place to begin.
